Numericable plans EUR 9.99 triple-play social tariff

French cable operator Numericable plans to launch a triple-play social tariff for EUR 9.99 per month, company CEO Pierre Danon told Le Figaro. The new tariff will be offered to people receiving unemployment or disability benefits and living in a building served by Numericable's "Service Unique Numerique" (SUN) service. It will provide 2 Mbps internet access, unlimited telephony in France and 60 TV channels. In contrast, the SUN service costs EUR 4 per month for internet and TV, but does not include phone calls.
