Numericable set to launch SVOD service - CEO

French operator Numericable will launch its SVOD service, codenamed 'SerieFlix' very soon, CEO Jerome Yomtov told Les Echos newspaper. Numericable, which is in the process of acquiring mobile carrier SFR, is now beta testing the service, which has a catalogue of several thousand TV series episodes. Numericable's La Box Fibre customers will soon receive teaser ads. The move comes as Netflix launches in France on 15 September. Numericable currently offers various SVOD services, including Jook, Filmo TV and OCS, but not CanalPlay. Les Echos writes that Netflix sought 90 percent of the revenue
