Nvidia certified to test self-driving vehicles in California

Graphics card-maker Nvidia was added to the list of all the companies and entities cleared by The California Department of Motor Vehicles to test self-driving vehicles on public roads in the state, writes online publication TechCrunch.com. On top of graphic cards, the company creates processing units for use in autonomous driving systems, including those capable of deep learning. Nvidia is doing this testing on its own, with the aim of building its own contained, learning autonomous driving system.
