NXP unveils Smartphone Quick-Jack offering

NXP Semiconductor has introduced a new Smartphone Quick-Jack offering that simplifies connecting a range of external devices to smartphones for self-powered data communications. Adapting to the standard 3.5mm audio jack on smartphones, the offering creates a universal interface for external sensors, switches, peripherals and other devices.
