O2 Germany brings Live Check function to smartphones

Wednesday 8 May 2013 | 16:53 CET | News
Telefonica Germany is bringing its Live Check function to smartphones with the launch of an alpha app for Android and iPhone users. The app will allow users to check the status on the O2 network in real-time on their handsets. The Live Check function has been available on the O2 website since end-February, with on average around 3,000 users a day checking network status. Live Check, network coverage maps and speed test functions will be integrated with the 'Mein O2' app for Android and iPhone in the summer.
