O2 Germany to throttle bandwidth from October

Monday 7 July 2014 | 15:19 CET | News
O2 Germany plans to introduce bandwidth limits on new DSL contracts from October, Digital Fernsehen reports. The operator will throttle bandwidth only if a customer exceeds 300 GB data usage three months in a row. If they then use more than 300 GB data in the fourth month, download speeds will be restricted to a maximum 2 Mbps. This will apply to DSL All-in M, DSL All-in L and DSL All-in Y tariffs.
