O2 IT Services starts smart waste management pilot in Kolin

O2 IT Services, a subsidiary of O2 Czech Republic, in cooperation with the City of Kolin and the waste disposal company AVE, launched a pilot project on smart waste management, which will run in Kolin until February 2017. The project is based on sorted waste containers with active and passive elements that can provide for monitoring of usage and fill levels.
