O2 manager believes LTE network co-operation is unrealistic

Thursday 21 October 2010 | 14:13 CET | News
Markus Haas Markus Haas, Head of Corporate and Legal Affairs for Telefonica o2 Germany, does not believe that a co-operation between Germany's major mobile networks on LTE network roll-out is realistic. He told teltarif.de that each network operator had their own roll-out plans. He also warned the German telecoms regulator not to cut mobile terminations too high as this could reduce the funds available for mobile broadband network investment. The regulator is set to publish new mobile termination rates by 01 December.
