OBS acquires security specialist Atheos

Monday 6 January 2014 | 16:24 CET | News
Orange Business Services (OBS) has acquired Atheos, becoming the largest European cyberdefense company. Atheos, founded in 2002, is an IT identity and security management specialist on the French market. OBS said the deal will strengthen the company by addressing two key requirements in today's corporate environment, namely the provision of stronger access control and data-loss prevention policies, and proactive cyberdefense through the advanced identification of security breaches and vulnerabilities, the detection and analysis of "low-noise" attack signals, and on-site crisis management.
