OBS forms IT division to focus on M2M, big data, mobile

Orange Business Services has restructured its B2B services teams under an umbrella unit, Orange Applications for Business OAB, which has around 2,400 employees and serves 11,000 customers. Orange's new IT services provider will take on competitors such as Capgemini, Atos and IBM, writes Les Echos. Directed by Beatrice Felder, OAB will focus on M2M (IoT), big data analysis and mobile apps. The operations merged into OAB generated EUR 300 million of revenue in 2013 and expects double-digit growth.
