Octotel plans to expand reach from 60,000 to 100,000 homes within a year

South Africam open access fibre provider Octotel has announced plans to pass 100,000 homes within a year. It has so far laid fibre to 60,000 homes, although it has not said how many of those homes have signed up for services. Octotel MD Rob Gilmour said demand for fibre has spurred the company to accelerate its deployment plans.
