Oculus damages cut in half in patent dispute with ZeniMax Media

Facebook has secured a reduction in the damages owed by its unit Oculus in a trade secrets dispute, to USD 250 million from the original USD 500 million won by ZeniMax Media in early 2017. A federal court in Dallas also rejected the company's request a ban on the sale or promotion of Oculus' products that ZeniMax alleged violated its copyrights, Reuters reports.
