Ofcom appoints Channel 4 Deputy Chairman

UK regulator Ofcom has announced the appointment of Mary Teresa Rainey as Deputy Chairman of broadcaster Channel 4. She is already a non-executive of the Channel 4 Board, having joined in January 2012, and will take on the new role with immediate effect. Her appointment as Deputy Chairman of Channel 4 runs until December 2017. She replaces Mark Price, who stepped down from the Channel 4 Board on 1 April.
