Ofcom chief calls for regulation of social media firms on fake news

The chief executive of UK regulator Ofcom, Sharon White, believes it's time to regulate social media sites that publish news. Writing in The Times newspaper, White said that the fluid environment of social media presented new challenges for both readers and regulators.
