Ofcom compares operator service quality

Ofcom has launched a new interactive tool so that people can compare the service quality of their phone and broadband providers. The UK regulator also published its first 'Comparing Service Quality' report (2016), looking at how companies handle customer calls and complaints, and at the reliability of their services. In terms of overall satisfaction, 92% of mobile customers, 89% of landline telephone customers and 87% of broadband customers were satisfied with their service. Ofcom said it will likely require providers to collect more information in a way that allows performance to be directly
