Ofcom confirms 3.6-3.8GHz mobile spectrum access approach

UK regulator Ofcom has confirmed its strategy for expanding spectrum access for mobile services in the 3.6-3.8GHz band, which has been identified as the primary band for the roll-out of 5G services. The band is currently used by point-to-point fixed links for a range of applications, with part of the band used by UK Broadband to deliver wireless broadband services.
