Ofcom consults on plans to halt local TV services roll-out

UK regulator Ofcom is consulting on a provisional decision to halt the roll-out of local TV services. The consultation closes on 01 June. Ofcom believes that continuing the expansion of local TV services would have a negative effect on the economic viability of the local TV sector overall.
