Ofcom ordered to pay GBP 218 mln to MNOs after overcharging for spectrum

UK regulator Ofcom overcharged four mobile operators for spectrum and must now pay back GBP 218 million, more than its entire GBP 196 million income for fiscal year 2018/2019, The Register reported. Three senior UK judges from the Court of Appeal gave the ruling, saying BT's EE can reclaim GBP 82.4 million, Vodafone and O2 UK GBP 5 million each and 3 UK GBP 26 million.
