Ofcom proposes new cap on cost of calling directory enquiries

UK regulator Ofcom has opened a consultation on directory enquiry (118) numbers, following a review of how people use these services and how much it costs to call them. The consultation closes on 22 August, with Ofcom aiming to publish its conclusions by end-2018.
