Oi and Anatel set for judicial hearing on 22 November

Brazilian operator Oi and the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) will have a debt mediation meeting on 22 November before the 7th Bankruptcy Court of Rio de Janeiro. The date was announced by Oi CEO Marco Schroeder on a conference call with analysts, reports Lusa. Anatel disclosed last month that Oi owes it BRL 20 billion in fines and charges, while the operator claims that it has debts of BRL 11.1 billion to the regulator.
