Oi expects to conclude sale of mobile unit in early 2022

Friday 14 May 2021 | 13:40 CET | News
Brazilian operator Oi expects that the execution of the sale of its non-core assets may be pushed back slightly by delays in regulatory approval for the transactions, especially for Oi Movel. Speaking to analysts, CEO Rodrigo Abreu said that the regulatory and competition analysis will be completed by the end of 2021 and the closing of the deals should be sealed in early 2022, reports Telesintese. The initial forecast was for completion of the deals by the end of 2021.
