Oi receives two bids for 25% stake in Unitel - report

Brazilian operator Oi received two bids for its 25 percent stake in Angolan mobile telephony operator Unitel, reports Angola 24 Horas. One of the proposals is said to be from Angolan businesswoman Isabel dos Santos, who already has a 25 percent stake in Unitel, with a value of USD 850 million. The other bid came from Angolan state-owned oil company Sonangol, which also owns 25 percent of the operator, and is said to be USD 1 billion in cash.
