Oi wants Amos Genish as new CEO - report

Brazilian operator Oi is seeking Amos Genish, founder of GVT and the former president of Vivo and Telecom Italia, as its new president, reports O Estado de Sao Paulo. The shareholders of the Brazilian operator are looking for a strong name in the telecom market to lead the restructuring process of the company. People close to Genish confirmed that the manager was sought by Oi, but said that, for now, he rejected the invitation.
