Ollo to receive LTE licence

Thursday 7 November 2013 | 23:20 CET | News
Bangladeshi Wimax operator Ollo is set to get an LTE licence with 40 MHz of spectrum at a price of BDT 2.46 billion. The telecommunications ministry has sent a letter to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to confirm the spectrum price in the 2600 MHz band, the Daily Star reports. The licence for Ollo was approved about a month ago, although mobile operators have raised questions about the licensing process.
