Omani TRA renews Ooredoo licence

Ooredoo Oman says its licence to provide mobile and fixed telecoms services has been renewed by Royal Decree following approval from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). The licence has been secured on favourable terms, sets the legal framework for Ooredoo's activities in the country and reinforces its position as a data experience leader. The company said it is positioned to pursue its next phase as it gears up for 5G.
