Omantel selects Ericsson for 5G testing

Omantel has selected Ericsson to begin tests of 5G equipment in partnership with other companies, reports Tahawul Tech. They are experimenting with download speeds of 25 Gbps, it said. Omantel became the first provider in the country to introduce LTE networks in 2012.
