One-fifth of Germans send private emails every day - study

One-fifth of all Germans send private emails on a daily basis, according to a study by German ICT and new media federation Bitkom. The figure rises to 27 percent with those aged 14-29. Still, 36 percent believe email will be completely replaced by other messaging services within the next 15 years. The survey was carried out among 1,008 respondents (789 internet users) aged 14 and over.
