One in 2 German households has a smart TV

More than every other German household (53%) has a smart television set, according to German consumer and home electronics sector association GFU. Among those, 74 percent of the TV sets are connected to the internet. It said 31 percent of the respondents stated that they regularly watch on-demand content from the internet.
