One in 4 Germans is open to using chatbots

Around 25 percent of Germans can imagine using chatbots, which autonomously and automatically complete set tasks, according to new data from German digital association Bitkom. Its survey found three quarters of Germans remained uninterested in using chatbot technology. Of respondents who could not imagine using chatbots, 63 percent said they do not want to talk to a computer. In addition, 54 percent doubted whether chatbots could reliably complete tasks and 49 percent questioned whether the information would be reliable.
