One in two Germans interested in smartwatches - Bitkom

About one in five Germans (18%) aged over 14 plan to use a smartwatch in future, and 28 percent would consider acquiring a smartwatch. This means almost one in two (46%) shows interest in smartwatches, according to a recent Bitkom survey. A total 61 percent of potential users want to mainly use fitness apps, followed by 56 percent who want to receive messages on the device.
