One million Italians switch mobile operator every month

One million Italians switch from one mobile operator to another each month, thanks to increasingly attracting offers. In 2012, number portings reached 12.8 million, up 48 percent from the previous year, and since 2003, there were more than 50 million changes of operator. According to Italy's Communications Authority (AgCom), these figures suggest a high level of competitiveness in the Italian market and excellent supervision by the competent authorities.
