One quarter of Germans read e-books - Bitkom survey

Almost one quarter (23%) of Germans read e-books, according to a survey by ICT industry group Bitkom. This figure has remained constant over the last three years. E-books are most popular with younger readers. They are used by 35 percent of 14-29 year olds, compared to 27 percent of 30-49 year olds, 24 percent of 50-64 year olds, and 8 percent of over 65s.
