One Wireless launches macro Wi-Fi in Botswana

Botswanan start-up telecom company One Wireless plans to deploy macro Wi-Fi services to "WiFi-blanket" several cities in the country including Gaborone, Maun, Palapye, Kasane and Francistown. The company says the wireless technology, also known as "mass Wi-Fi", provides faster internet speed and will benefit the public as well as providers of IoT, OTT, infrastructure and SaaS. The expectation is that this will also create more local jobs.
