Online video consumption in Brazil grows 18 percent in 2012

Online video consumption grew 18 percent in Brazil last year compared with 2011, with Brazilians watching an average of 129.3 videos over the internet, according to a comScore report released on 14 March. YouTube (Google) remains the main platform on the web, with 38.922 million unique visitors in December 2012. Vevo (Google) was second with 17.667 million visitors in the period. Facebook came in third at 17.504 million, an increase of over 400 percent compared with the same month in 2011.
