Online viewing drives Irish adults to ditch TV licences - survey

Over half (55%) of TV licence holders aged 30 and under are planing to, or are considering, stopping payment of their TV licence due to increased viewing of online content, according to a survey by Irish telecoms and broadband company Pure Telecom. Within this age group, the survey found that 17 percent have already stopped paying the annual EUR 160 fee.
