Only 13.5% of Spaniards changed mobile operator in 2015

Around 13.5 percent of Spanish users changed their mobile operator in 2015, while 5.6 percent started the process but ended up staying with their operator, according to a study from communications regulator CNMC. The report, corresponding to the fourth quarter of 2015, also found that 12.5 percent of respondents considered changing operator in the previous 12 months, but failed to act. Some 92 percent of those who did change operator retained their mobile phone number, with 80 percent of users managing to successfully port their number to another operator without paying anything for the
