Only 5% of Germans currently use smart home products

My-digital-lifestyle.de said 74 percent of people in Germany familiar with the term 'Smart Home' were interested in at least one networked home product. The website was citing a study of 4,000 mobile telecoms users in conjunction with the Toluna online panel. Among those who had not come across the idea before, interest was above average, especially in security products. However, only 5 percent of all respondents said they already used networked home products.
