Ono turns to mobile segment to boost broadband subscriptions

Spanish cable operator Ono has drawn up a three-year strategy, dubbed Plan Titanium 2014-16, which sets out the company's plans to strengthen its mobile telephony segment with a view to boosting broadband subscriptions, reports Cinco Dias. In a bid to consolidate its position in the highly competitive Spanish telecoms market, the operator will look to reduce its churn, which currently stands at 22.2 percent in the residential market, by improving internet connection speeds at no extra cost to customers and, above all, by promoting its triple play offering (broadband, fixed and mobile) to
