ONUG to run multivendor SDN PoC trials at Fall event

The Open Networking User Group (ONUG) announced the inclusion of multivendor proof of concept (PoC) demonstrations at its ONUG Fall 2015 conference in New York on 04 and 05 November. ONUG said the proof of concepts are an industry first and are set to demonstrate the creation of an industry wide software-defined infrastructure ecosystem in the making. The Virtual Networks/Overlays and SD-WAN working groups, which completed product feature verification testing earlier this year, will be conducting PoC demonstrations with the participation of over 15 vendor companies.
