Ooredoo Algeria EBITDA declines 23% in Q1

Ooredoo Algeria said EBITDA declined 23 percent to QAR 200 million in the first quarter ended 31March compared with the same period in 2019, and the company has taken steps to optimise its expenses, particularly for marketing and advertising. Revenues reached QAR 594 million, down 8 percent over Q1 2019 in a challenging economic environment with significant declines in the month of March as measures taken to curtail the spread of Covid-19 came into effect.
