Ooredoo Algeria FY revenue falls to KWD 190 mln from KWD 209 mln

Ooredoo Algeria's revenues decreased to KWD 190.0 million in the year ended 31 December 2019 from KWD 208.7 million in 2019. EBITDA was KWD 62.6 million, down from KWD 72.4 million in 2019. The customer base in Algeria decreased by 1 percent to 12.5 million from 12.6 million in 2019. Business was hit by the 5 percent depreciation of the Algerian dinar, a weak economic environment and intense price competition.
