Ooredoo Algeria revenue rises 2% in H1

Ooredoo Algeria reported a 2 percent increase in revenue in H1 to DZD 55.1 billion. In the same period, EBITDA grew by 7.3 percent year-on-year to DZD 20.7 billion and net profit improved strongly to 5.7 billion, from DZD 1.2 billion in H1 2015. The overall customer base reached 13.4 million at the end of June, up 1 percent year-on-year and representing over 10 percent of Ooredoo group's subscriptions. More recently, Ooredoo Algeria finalized the pre-launch phase for 4G services with new Algerian network speed records during trials in July.
