Ooredoo announces SEA-WE-ME, BICS, PCCW Global deals

Monday 23 March 2015 | 10:06 CET | News
Ooredoo Global Services (OGS), the wholesale arm of mobile operator Ooredoo, has announced three major agreements. At the 2015 Capacity Middle East event in Dubai, it said it was participating as a landing party for the SEA-ME-WE 5 Global Consortium Cable. The cable will land in Qatar and Oman, linking the Middle East with Southeast Asia and Western Europe. The completion of the SMW5 cable will add protection and diversity to the world's heavily congested cable systems. Ooredoo Global Services will manage the landing stations on behalf of Ooredoo.
