Ooredoo Kuwait Group revenue holds steady in H1, EBITDA up 11%

Ooredoo Kuwait Group said its consolidated revenue in the first six months to 30 June was KWD 294.7 million compared with KWD 294.1 million in H1 2020. It reported an improved EBITDA margin of 36 percent for the period despite various ongoing restrictions and challenges associated with the pandemic. In its domestic operations in Kuwait, revenues slipped to KWD 102.7 million from KWD 104.2 million in H1 2020. EBITDA increased by 11 percent to KWD 29.7 million from KWD 26.7 million a year earlier, driven by operational efficiencies across the business.
