Ooredoo Kuwait revenue falls in Q1

Thursday 30 April 2020 | 09:31 CET | News
Ooredoo Kuwait revenues decreased to QAR 656 million in the first quarter ending 31 March from QAR 673 million in Q1 2019, with the operator blaming a competitive environment. Operations were affected by the Covid-19 lockdown, which added pressure on the economy and correspondingly hit the performance of Ooredoo Kuwait. Going forward, the company will continue to optimise costs to manage the pressure on revenues as the virus situation develops, parallel to a low pricing environment and economic slowdown.
