Ooredoo Oman H1 revenue rises

Ooredoo Oman's revenue increased by almost 9 percent to QAR 1.3 billion for the first half of 2016 compared with QAR 1.2 billion in the same period in 2015, driven by both mobile and fixed data revenue. EBITDA increased by 7 percent to QAR 695 million, and the EBITDA margin was stable at 54 percent. Net profit increased by 12 percent to QAR 236 million, parent company Ooredoo announced. Ooredoo counted 2.8 million customers at the end of June, an increase of 3 percent year-on-year.
