Ooredoo Oman launches OScreen content service for smartphones

Wednesday 16 September 2020 | 12:50 CET | News

Ooredoo Oman says it has launched O-Screen, the first lock-screen lifestyle content service in the country and the GCC region, in partnership with Leading Marketing Technology. When users unlock their mobile phones, they can choose from a range of vouchers and offers in return for using the service. Ooredoo customers will also be rewarded with 1 GB of data every month.

The free service provides local and international output from thousands of publishers and is available to all users in Oman using an Android smartphone. The content will appear as the customer unlocks their smartphone but can be dismissed instantly and is highly targeted, relevant and non-intrusive.
