Open Compute Project announces new board seat for Google, new board member

Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) welcomed Google as an Executive Member and will hold a seat on its BoD. Its new director is Parthasarathy Ranganathan, an engineer at Google, where he designs the company's next-generation systems. OCP also announced the selection of Kushagra Vaid to serve on the BoD representing Microsoft.
