Open Fiber announces EUR 4 mln Nuoro FTTH project

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber has announced an agreement with Nuoro city council in central Sardinia to bring FTTH services to the locality in an investment of around EUR 4 million. The company plans to connect 12,000 premises in Nuoro to its broadband service, allowing users to connect at speeds of up to 1Gbps, by rolling out 700 kilometres of cables over the coming months.
