Open Fiber brings gigabit FTTH to Bassano del Grappo

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber announced that the first commercial fibre-optic offers using its network are now available in the town of Bassano del Grappo in the northern Veneto region. The first homes connected are in the boroughs of Santa Croce, San Bassiano, San Lazzaro, Merlo, Firenze e Pre, with the operator intending to FTTH at download speeds of up to 1Gbps to a total of 16,000 premises in the town via a total of investment of EUR 8 million.
